Work out on the waterfront with fun, FREE fitness events at four Port of San Diego waterfront parks on Sunday, May 20, 2012.  Popular trainers and fitness experts from throughout the region will lead classes from 7 a.m. to noon during the Port of San Diego’s Big Bay Boot Camp event.  The nearly 100 classes offered include Yoga, Zumba, Pilates, Core Power Training, Boxing, Kettleball, and more!

Activities are open to all ages and fitness levels.

The classes – held simultaneously – are in the Port cities of Chula Vista, Imperial Beach, National City, and San Diego.

The 7^th annual awards were held last week in Istanbul, Turkey. The awards are based on the new superyacht builds delivered to their owners in the past twelve months. There are a number of yacht award categories, so yachts are judged against like size/type vessels.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THERE ARE INHERENT RISKS INVOLVED WITH CHARTERING, including but not limited to equipment failure, perils of the sea, acts of other participants, and adverse sea and weather conditions, and I HEREBY ASSUME SUCH RISKS.

I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE DUTY TO EXERCISE REASONABLE CARE FOR MY OWN SAFETY AND I AGREE TO DO SO.

I assert that I am physically fit to ride on a boat and I will not hold the vessel “VESSEL NAME” and/or  COMPANY/OWNER NAME or their employees, agents or other associated personnel responsible if I am injured as a result of ANY problems (medical, accidental or otherwise) which occur while chartering the boat or otherwise participating in the trip.

I fully understand that the vessel “VESSEL NAME” has limited medical facilities and that in the event of illness or injury, appropriate care must be summoned by radio and treatment will be delayed until I can be transported to a proper medical facility.  I agree in advance to these conditions.

COMPANY/OWNER NAME and vessel “VESSEL NAME”, have made no representations to me, implied or otherwise, that they or their crew can or will perform safe rescues or render first aid.  In the event I show signs of distress or call for aid, I would like assistance and will not hold  COMPANY/OWNER NAME or vessel “VESSEL NAME”, their crew or passengers responsible for their actions in attempting the performance or rescue of first aid.

I agree to forever discharge and release COMPANY/OWNER NAME, vessel “VESSEL NAME”, its employees and agents, the owner(s) of COMPANY/OWNER NAME, vessel “VESSEL NAME”, and affiliates, from any and all responsibility or liability for any and all injuries or damages.  I agree NOT to make a claim against or sue any of the above parties for injuries or damages whether they arise or result from any NEGLIGENCE or other liability, EVEN IN CASES OF GROSS NEGLIGENCE.  I further specifically agree, on behalf of myself, my heirs and assigns, to indemnify and hold harmless the released parties for any and all causes of action arising as a consequence of any incidents which might occur as a consequence of my participation in any  activities with or involving the released parties.

Trawler Fest caters to the “trawler” client. An Educational Experience offers both a Trawler Boat Show and Learning Seminars.

Trawler Fest San Diego, California

Show Dates: November 10 – 12, 2011
Location: Kona Kai Resort & Marina

This event includes the Trawler Fest University for 2 days. (November 8 & 9)
The “Boat Show & Seminars” follow the University (November 10 – 12)
This is an educational experience, different from any other boat show you have previously been to!

The bi-annual event leaves southern California with a final destination in La Paz, MX.

Powerboats should be able to do a minimum of 450 nautical miles at 8 knots, min. 3 people capable of standing overnight watches.

Insurance for vessels in the rally should have hull coverage, navigation limits extending south to Cabo San Lucas, MX including the Sea of Cortez, and Mexican liability coverage.
